Raydyot Mirror Offset

I know the dash mounted Raydyot mirror is not in right in the center of the dash, but wanted to know how far offset to the right the mirror is supposed to be. I'm getting ready to drill the holes and only want to drill once.

Thanks,

Jason

There is no "correct" measurement that I am aware of. No original came with the racing mirror installed by AC.
The dash mirror has the offset to clear the scuttle tube under the center of the dash. About one inch over and one inch forward of the edge seems to look good.

You can also use a bracket and not drill the body.

Mine is mounted just like the one in the picture with the bracket. Left side is lined up with the edge of the stripe.

Ron- Do you have a picture of the bracket so that I don't have to drill the body?

Thanks,

Jason

The bracket I referred to was one that uses the "existing" holes for the rectangular mirror... I meant you don't have to drill the body "with more holes."

Mine didn't have any holes.
