I plan on going out late Friday afternoon. Temperatures are going to be in the mid 80s. My cool shirt system should still be helpful.
I believe Terry will be going out Friday as well.

We will be there. Planning on leaving Friday afternoon and spending the night in Pahrump. Does anyone know if the track will be open Friday afternoon, it would be nice to unload the car and leave it there for the night? I know that we cannot camp at the track.

I found out that the track is open to 5:00 PM Friday. If you want to leave your car in the paddock you must be there before that time.

Scott, is your cobra Yellow? I noticed that you post up a lot of track and autocross events, and I have only seen one Cobra regularly out there so I think that it might be you :). If so, we have met before! I am Mike and I usually am out at the track in this...

350,
Not yellow!! Mine is red with white strips and #113 on the meatballs. The autocross is fun but way-too-much time sitting in the car between runs. Track time is so much more fun.
The track event that the Porsche Club put on two weeks ago at Pahrump was great. Got some super seat time until Sunday when a friend pushed his cobra off the track. Had to put his cobra on the trailer to get it home. He then drove my cobra home on my racing slicks as that was the only tires I had there. An interesting way to finish the weekend.

LVRPCA / LVRSCCA events are the best events out at Pahrump. Very safe, well run, and usually not too crowded.

Yeah, thats his name! He is a really cool guy and beats the crap out of his Cobra (in a good way). I have seen him at the autocrosses, track events, and even at the drag strip.
