Las Vegas Saturday Breakfast and Run
Who's interested in breakfast and a run this Saturday?:D :D
Breakfast at 8:00am at Boulevard Sports Bar on South Las Vegas Blvd. across from South Coast Casino. Run to the Techatticup Mine south of Boulder City (just past Nelson). After breakfast we travel to Boulder City and gas up. Backtrack to highway 95 south past the dry lake bed and make a left onto highway 165 to Nelson. Just past Nelson is the Old Mining Camp of Techatticup. The mine was first opened in 1861. **) A couple bought the place and 51 adjacent acres a few years ago and have fixed the place up including a 5 story barn. :MECOOL: I haven't been there yet, but I thought this might be a good 1/2 day run. Drinks and snacks can be purchased in the general store. If you want to tour the mine I think they charge $12.00.:eek: Scott |
I'll check with Linda and see if she's up for the run. I'll be a brerakfast either way.

Breakfast sounds good but I will have to pass on the run. The wife is working and I really need to get my Mustang running.

Scott, I'll be there for breakfast but won't be able to make the run to the mine. I have to run up to Mt. Charleston to confer with a client who is building a cabin up there.
It great that Terry is comming with you. Looking forward to seeing him. |

Just got off the phone with Jim and he’ll be flying his airplane to the Jean airport tomorrow morning at 9:30.
We could take a run down there and maybe one of you brave souls could go for a test flight with him.:eek: |
