parade feedback
I was around 20 or so cars from the tail end. We left the gas station accelerating hard. Hit the 4 lane at 60 mph then 70 mph then 80 mph before testing the brakes, when we caught up at the traffic light to turn towards London. Way too fast for a parade.
I suggest the leader have phone contact with the last car or the traffic director, so they can hold the speed down until all cars are moving. This should prevent the strung out cars at the rear that have to close the gap with speed. Instead of sending one car from each lane, sending one lane then the next should put less gap between cars starting. |
Convoys in the military have the same problems----kind of like a slinky toy going down the steps---maybe a drivers meeting???? and a whole line then the next would be better ---
