This year's car is a Unique 289, modified to replicate CSX2128 when it was painted in Coventry Motors colors and driven by Allen Grant. Fun trivia fact about the car: the paint on the original car was designed and applied by Allen's crew chief at the time, George Lucas. In order to replicate the original, Unique (Unique Motorcars) started with their 289 FIA kit, removed the chin oil cooler opening, added standard doors (not cut-back FIA doors), and melded in slab side style front fenders. The engine will be a Patriot Perfomance 347 stroker, graciously DONATED by Patriot Performance (https://www.patriot-performance.com/)! Transmission will be a Tremec 5-speed. Wheels will be Trigo Kidney Bean knock-offs. We will also be opening registration for LCS 2012 soon!
