lcs 07 ladies longaberder basket tour
would there be interest among the ladies attending the lcs 07 event for a friday bus tour to the longaberger basket co.? this trip would be organized by a rep from longaberger.the bus would leave the motel complex at 8am,drive to the longaberger homestead for shopping and lunch,then return at 3pm in time to meet the others at quaker steak and lube.think it over.some time in january we will ask for interest and post details.

hi, Doug. First, not able to attend LCS in '07. But, since you asked, i bet the general population of ladies would like the Longaberger basket tour. If i was coming to LCS, i would of course be driving or riding in a cobra, but most wives know and probably appreciate the quality of the baskets. So, if they weren't riding along with the guys, would maybe enjoy that.
Do you have to commit a certain number, pay a minimum fee for a tour?? Evidently the hubbies here haven't given it much thought. just giving you a ladies' perspective.... ;) i have quite a few of the baskets; always room for more!!! :D Kristen |
Hi Kristen, the tour bus carries 55 persons.the bus costs $600. per person cost depends on number of ladies signed up plus $20for lunch and $40 for a tour basket.

hmmm. $75 right off the cuff. When I went with David to Trucking Conventions, I always did the 'spouse' program. Along with most of the spouses. I'm wondering if you would have enough wives/ladies along for this trip??? I bet a lot of the ladies that come to London would just like to cruise with their husbands, or go shopping.
I think some of the guys here on CC that go to LCS should ask their wives, and let you know. Maybe bring this back up in February?? good luck! Kristen |
That was the plan.Post the info,then check in january for interest. We are also working on that shopping thing.

Longaberger
I told the Mrs about a possible cruise to the Longaberger Basket Company and she was exited. I could get a lot of points by spending some quality time with her going to the basket company and you know what you can trade those points in on?????? UP GRADES !!! What were you thinking? :)
