Question regarding Manufacturers at London?

How many manufacturers do you have show up for the show and do you have a designated area for the manufacturers? How many days do the manufacturers usually set up?

I would appreciate some feed back from other manufacturers that have attended and was it worth the cost of the trip. This has to be one of the largest gatherings of Cobra's on the Planet and the London team that puts this thing together does a really nice job.

By the way for all you guys that want to see your rides on the Speed Channel I have been told (by a very reliable source) the show "Kit Car an Autobody Experience" will be filming for one of their fall episodes.

Clois,

Some but not all of your major manufacturers/Dealers will be there. Just off the top of my head are BDR, SPF, FF, Shell Valley, (Hurricane Mike/Rich) miss those guys last year for some reason:CRY:

We use to set up on Friday at the parking lot near the Hotels, but seems not as much anymore. People start coming in on Thursday and finish up on Sunday.

OCC does a fantastic job every year. They set us all up in the main part of the square, so all can see every type of replica easily.

As many replicas you want to see, oh yeah not to mention 200-300 replica owners as well.

Worth the trip:rolleyes: only if you like a great time, meeting some of the club members of KCC, OCC, WCCC, GASHOLES, Deep South CC, just to name a few. Drinking a little on the Hampton's Grassy Knoll, staying up late unless you are WCCC, those guys go to bed early:D

Thanks Bill,

Bryan Anderson is thinking about coming this year to either Hallett or London and I think he would get the best bang for his buck at London even though it is a lot further away. Don't get me wrong I love Hallett and the Mid America show but it apeals to a different crowd of vintage and muscle Ford stuff. London is focused on our hobby and is The Cobra Event of the year. I wish I could make it but I have ties to the Hallet event and it is in my back yard.

Clois

Thanks for your response.

I've never done Hallett so can't speak for that event.
FWIW, I have been to London every year since '02 and always observe crowds visiting all of the maunfacturers' displays on the square on Saturday. I can't begin to count the number of times I've seen interested newbies advised "Go to London...you'll see every variety of Cobra and manufacturer" on the various forums. I've often made the same recommendation...
