Lonestar's website is down...

I hope everything is okay....
Looking at their 427...
I know the economy has been bad... :-(

Barnsnake 08-13-2012 05:39 PM

Brian was at the Yellow Rose car show over the weekend and said everything was going fine. Probably just a hosting problem.

CowtownCobra 08-14-2012 05:52 AM

Works fine for me.....

I was in his shop (out by airport) about a week ago. said they just moved back, and delivering cars---plan to get back down there soon

Luce 10-08-2013 07:24 AM

It's down again and has been for a week or so. Well, the site is up, but the forum is down.

Texasdoc 10-30-2013 10:19 AM

Their entire website has been down for months. I think that since Brian sold most of Lonestar, they have been concentrating on the Bailey Blade. Blade Concept

I'm glad I finished mine before they sold out and feel sorry for those still waiting for parts.

Skip J. 10-30-2013 03:43 PM

Have not looked at their site in a while but just checked, it's up and running as is the forum. Also checked their Facebook site and a post from four hrs ago said they're going to Sema with pics of what appears to be their layout.

Barnsnake 10-30-2013 06:56 PM

They're working on a new server and web page, while the old one is up and down like a yo-yo. SEMA is getting most of their bandwidth right now.

American 12-01-2013 05:12 PM

Been down all day again.

American 12-02-2013 05:47 AM

Spoke with Brian this morning. New website is coming up today, just slow transitioning it over to the new site.

trularin 12-02-2013 06:05 AM

So what is the story with LoneStar?

Is Brian still doing LoneStar or was the Cobra line sold?

LSC 12-23-2013 07:33 AM

Lsc rumor kill

Before rumors get out of control, as they can so easily by those who do not represent the company or facts, I thought I would Kill these Rumors & paint the real picture without fiction..

As stated in on the LSC Face Book wall:

Just so there's no confusion, Lone Star Classics is not & will never be the manufacture of the Bailey Blade XTR. BXR Motors is a sister company of LSC & will be the sole designer, developer, & manufacturer of the Blade XTR. LSC presently in a state of growth. Customers can now source 100% of their LS427 from LSC, for example: Motor, transmissions, rear ends, wheels, tires, & even paint for those who live locally. LSC is also back to offering Turnkey (ready-to-drive away) LS427s built to order!expect to see more details & exciting news in the very near future!
___
We have been experiencing major issues with our server so we are having the site enhanced & moved to a more up-to-date server. This is a delinquent process as not to loose search engine placement. So, your patients is extremely appreciated & we apologize for any inconveniences this may be causing..
The most important thing to realize here is that this DOES NOT in ANY WAY mean we are closing.. Our focus on the Cobra line has only increased with an influx of capitol financing.
If anyone here has been to the LSC facility within the last few months here's what you would have seen:
-A recently installed new state of the art paint booth
-New recently installed large racks to accommodate body & frame inventory
-A new aircraft quality rotisserie for our new Cobra body mold
-New MFGR equipment
-Another new 26' trailer
-Multiple new Port-a-Cools
-Multiple Cobras
-A dozen additional new employees
Other enhancements you wouldn't have seen:
-A new state-of-the-art inventory/invoice/estimate system
-Shorter lead times from kit orders
-Increase in show ex-poser
-& a huge list of other things we have on the agenda for LSC.

So, in a nut shell, LSC is growing quickly so there should be no concerns or reasons to entertain doubt or fear. These are all things anyone can just walk in & see & or simply pick up the phone & call and ask us directly..

Merry Christmas & happy New Years,
