Lone Star Specs

I am about to purchase a used Lone Star from a private party. He doesn't know much about the car, it was used for display only in an auto repair showroom.

Does anyone know the the specs for a Lone Star Cobra? I know that the wheelbase is 4" longer and the overall length is 160". What is the front and rear track? What is considered correct ride height (ground clearence)? Is the body wider then an original?

My goal is to finish this Cobra as exact as possible and want to know that I'm starting out on the right foot with a Lone Star.

They have a pretty good reputation and the combination on this particular one is awsome: NOS 427 side oiler, aluminum heads, 5 speed, Currie 9" Ford rear w/ disks and a Detroit Locker, Kinsler EFI and has a Paxton blower in a box thats new, never mounted.

Any help in the car specs will be greatly appreciated and will make my decision easier as to buy this Cobra or look for another model.

Doc, you can call Lone Star in the Dallas, Fort Worth area and talk to Brian or Steve.

The ride height is relative to the front end weight and is adjustable ( on mine it is ).
With that 427 up front, she will probably sit low and sinister.

Talk to Brian.
