radiator mounting
I'm in process of rebodying my car after a brush with a wall at RunNGun. A question I have is when I remount my radiator, why shouldn't I get a radiator with inlet/outlet in the upper passenger side/lower driver side. That's opposite from every LS427 I've seen. Sure seems like plumbing would be easier/cleaner. I'm running an FE w/o that fancy expansion tank.
My radiator currently sits vertically in the nose, but I will be mounting at a slant back closer to the engine. (I want a sway bar, and this should make that easier) Mat |
conections
Radiator conections for Ls motors are usally both on the passangerside. Its set up that way becaust both the inlet and outlet are on that side. When we make the radiators we make them a crossflow 2- pass where we put a baffel in the tank to make the water go thru 2-times. This is more efficent then a stadard 1- pass
