I have not seen this posted anywhere so here it goes.

Historic Festival presented by Jaguar, Sept 2-5, 2011. Car show is Sunday, gate price on tickets is $25.00 advance price is $20.00.

Hope to see some friendly faces and some new one this year.

i think i can get a few guys together for this years run. Our Leader Tony isn't part of the run so we will just do the best we can without him. I will not be able to make the run this year but will do all i can to put it together. give me a couple of days and i will be in touch.

I was able to order tickets online and print them at home. I think the deadline for advance tickets is the 26th of August.

Get your tickets at AAA. You can always show your AAA card at the gate and get the lesser $5 discount. If you're a veteran, you and your family get in for free.

Hey folks,
A few people have been asking about this year’s Lime Rock run? In the past Tony has always arranged this run and did a great job doing so. Tony isn’t around much anymore as far as I know. I can’t make the run this year due to a golf tournament I will be in over the labor day weekend. I have copied Tony’s game plan from last year and since it worked so well I’m going with it again. I hope many of you make the trip and have a great time doing so, I look forward to hearing all about it.

Meet:
McDonalds on Hempstead Tpke in Uniondale opposite Nassau Coliseum. ¼ mile WEST of Meadowbrook Pky

PLease fill your tanks the night before and remember to bring your EASY PASS

Meeting Time: 6:15am
Departing Time: 6:30am
Returning Time: 2:00pm ish

Join fellow Cobra, GT40 and Mustang enthusiasts for a day trip to the Lime Rock Park Vintage Festival car show.
Lime Rock’s traditional Vintage & Historic Car Show and the Show of Shelby’s will display a vast array of foreign and domestic automobiles along with the great signature cars of Carroll Shelby, including Cobras, GT 350s, 500s and more.

On the way we will make a pit stop at the Putnam Diner on Route 22 in Patterson, NY for a sit down breakfast.

Route: Hempstead Tpke to Meadowbrook Pky North, merging into Northern State Pky West
(Grand Central Pky), to Cross Island Pky North.
Over Whitestone Bridge to Hutchinson River Pky North. Once on the Hutch we will continue to Route 684, then directly onto route 22 taking route 44 in Millerton to route 112 to Limerock Park.

The return trip will be the same routes 112, 44 and 22 as in years past, why...well because we know where all the gas stations are located.

Just got back from LimeRock raceway, another great event. I was surprised no-one showed up at McD this morning, I guess most are still digging out from the storm.
Meet up with the Conn group, great bunch of guys.
Not as many Cobras this year, Jaguar sponsored the show, so there where a lot of vintage Jags.
