You twist this OEM spec Bullet cam, to 7200???

Previous owner had set the redline there and I haven't touched it...will now though. Geez! No way, for all I know if I hit 7000 it could be 8000! The tach sticks and bounces all over (stuck at 1000 in the picture.)

Will replacing the SW gauges with Smiths take are of it? Do I need to shield the tach wires?

found the threads with a myriad of possible solutions. guess I should have looked first.
