Registering a Cobra replica in NY

I received the registration packet from Albany and it reads like War and Peace. I’m hoping the process doesn’t take months to accomplish. I’m a couple weeks out on driveable car and then I can weigh it and submit the paperwork. Has anyone been through this process in NY and have an idea of the ups and downs and time frame?

We have helped many of our customers through the process. I can help with some of the information the DMV wants. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT try to pull one over on them. The people in Albany are familiar with the cars. Typically a couple weeks for the paperwork submitted to Albany. Once they approve the DMV site inspection is dependent upon how busy your regional station is. Once you get the appointment call and ask for it to be moved up as they get cancellations and often can get you in much quicker.

Thanks for the info Rick. I appreciate it. I may give you a shout once I get closer to completion.
