I moved to the east end of LI this summer. My FFR SpecRacer came with me. Not street legal, yet. I would appreciate some local wisdom on the title details. I got the paperwork a year or too back. I was prepping her for a NJ title, but pandemic accelerated plans to NY. Only piece left is hopefully the wipers. It has none, but hopeful the bolt on one's work here. She has done a bunch of track days and autocross so she is stable and reliable. ;)
Are there any get together's to talk cars? |

WELCOME! Nice Cobra!
Last summer I organized a Cobra run. We had 6 cars. We started at OBI (the old Oak Beach Inn parking lot) which is one of the biggest and oldest Cars & Coffee gatherings on Sunday mornings on Ocean Parkway, just east of Cap Tree. There are LOTS of car gatherings these days. Facebook groups are probably the best source of info on them. Bellmore R/R station on Friday nights has been around forever. Deer Park Ave also in summers, I think wed nights as I recall.
