East End 2007 Cruise Night-Riverhead
I pulled the ad below from the "Special Interest" paper. I do not know what they mean by "1 on 1 Drags" . I sent an inquiring e-mail since it sure does sound interesting !

When does that start? Sounds like what we have been missing on LI for some time!! Did you happen to call as well?

Not yet. They race stock cars every saturday. I intend to give them a call or stop by this weekend. There is not yet menton on their website. The Raceway Cruise Night was a post season event that will probably get more push as the temps warm. Here is their link: www.riverheadraceway.com/

Tough getting info here. I e-mailed a while back and got no response.
I called the racetrack the other day, spoke to a lady who stated the Cruise Night is handled by an independant guy. I was referred to Bill Denison.. 516-333-2016, which is a trailer tow service. I left a message but have not yet received a return call. |
After repeated attempts at the tel # provided in the ad I finally did get an e-mail answer from Riverhead Raceway.
I cited the Special Interest ad STILL active in the paper for the Raceway cruise night . Their response ? " No....that's not happening this year ". |
