Lebanon Dragway
Joe is looking into track date availability at Lebanon for a date sometime in June or early July. Can we get a head count on who would like to go to race their cars ?

Do I really even have to answer. Pat M. and I ten four. Don't know what we are racing but we are racing something. Say when and where. No ,May 20th Gina graduates. Or maybe she won't mind if I miss if I send a big check.

If you can get enough guys together; I'd like to go again from Joisy. I'd like another shot at Andrews high winding, Winston Cup screamer. If his clutch is still burned out; I can take him. I just noticed the post but i haven't been active on the thread over the winter. It would be nice if you could get 30 or 40 cars like the Columbus Circle gig. You need a bunch of cars just to rent the track anyway. Bernie |

have been asked that question a few times. A track date is still in the works, we are looking for a Friday between June and July, last year July 7th worked out well. You can bet that now that American has finished my new exhaust system I’ve got bugs up my draws.:eek: We currently have interest from approximately eight people, so ultimately we will probably be about the same number as last year, sure hope Jim can put us all up although he did say something about sharing space with the raccoons. Beernie maybe you can sign-up some other Jersey cars?

I'll do some recruiting and see if I can drum up some others. That is so much fun; I can't believe it's like pulling teeth to get some guys to go. No pressure; no cops just jump on the gas and go like hell. I guess not everybody can drive that far though or they don't have trailers. I sure would like to go again, if you can get it set up. That was fun stuff and cheap. Please don't do the weekend of June 15/16. I have to go Houston for kids graduation ceremonies. Thanks, Bernie |

It's your show Joe . Just get your car sorted out with some firm test miles on it and let's have some fun ! Meanwhile, I hope to be a spectator on the event above som let me know if there are any particulars i can check out in advance. |

My neighbor goes to that show every year and says it worth the hike. That's at least 5 hours from where we live. He has a beautiful, black 57 Chevy Belaire but I don't know if he's racing. It's a street car with NJ QQ plates on if if he's there. He has a tricked 350 in it. Nice car. Bernie |
