Anything Going On on Father's Day?
Was wondering if anyone was planning on doing any cruising other than the usual AM beach run on Sunday, (or maybe even Sat night)? It's one of the few days of the year that I get to opportunity to get out with the car guilt free.

My brother wants to take his car to OBI in the morning, so I will go with him in my Cobra. Other than that, nothing else that I know of.

I have to work Sunday...I'll go for a blast down to cedar beach tonight for some little necks on the half shell and a beer or two !! :3DSMILE:

Got lucky I guess, after the ride to the beach, we went to the Deer Park cruise nite for a while, saw the clouds coming in from the north and took off by 8, it never rained in western suffolk :D

For sure. It absolutely poured at my house by 8:00 and was all over by 9:00pm, but the roads were still too wet for my liking so we took the ole Civic instead.
Headed down to OBI this morning around 9'ish (nice and late) and had a great ride. Must have seen 3 Cobra's in the lot + 2 on the drive out, one in front of the other on RM. And another on the Sag heading south as I headed north as I headed home. I ususally don't go that late, but it was a real nice change of pace because it was not crazy packed at that time. Hope the weather is just as nice next weekend!!

Just took a nice cruise with the wife along the north shore area through Port Jeff, not too much traffic. Last year there was a cruise on Saturday nights on Ocean Parkway to a beach club, a little west of the OBI. Can someone tell me the name of the club and if its open yet for the cruise? Thanks

cobred....Cedar Beach..a mile or two west of OBI on Ocean Parkway...the cruise thing already started..but the last couple of Saturday nites the weather has been less then perfect....cool and windy.

Good info on the Cedar Beach cruise-in. Is there a parking fee?

Thanks Tony. I remember last year was a nice time. No parking fee, arrive around 6p.m. and no crowd yet. Custom cars park away from general public.
