David Letterman... the clock is ticking

No surprise here. He's a liberal and as such follows no moral code. Sure, conservatives do this too. Proves we are all human... something Letterman will have to come to terms with as he watches more and more of his audience leave him.

Seem's pretty clear conservatives are the one's with no moral code.

Any particular reason you feel the need to link this incident along party lines?

Jamo 10-02-2009 01:24 AM

I hate Letterman...can't stand the basturd.

Having said that, I have to ask the same question, Mike...WTF's this got to do with politics?

I agree, I won't watch the arrogant SOB. Unfortunatly, by not watching him, I can't boycott his sponsers.

Mike, this right-wing holier-than-thou crap is really getting old. Have you been paying attention to the news lately? There are plenty of conservative types being outed, caught cheating on their wives, committing fraud, stealing, and all sorts of nasty things.

Letterman sleeping around had nothing to do with how he votes.

Are you saying that if a good looking naked woman walks by you that you are going to close your eyes because your moral code says you should?
I'm going to look, I might even stare, and I'm damn sure going to enjoy it. And I'd be willing to bet that Jamo would look as well.

Moral code my ass.

It is a moral code that is missing. NOT by Liberals, or Conservatives, but by politicians of either or neither party. The celebrity set leads the way in moral degeneration, they call it tolerance and understanding.
Did you hear Whoopi when asked if she would want her 14 year old daughter raped by Polanski? "Not necessarily, no." Does that mean, maybe it would be OK? This after she said a few times, "It wasn't rape, RAPE!" A 13 or 14 year old girl screwed by an adult male IS rape rape. With or without alcohol and 'ludes.'

I wonder if that egotistical ass hole would have gotten laid if it wasn't for his money.
I wouldn't watch him if he paid me to. Late nite TV is in the tank! Where the hell is Johnny when we need him?

Yeah Letterman is a ahole BUT what about the MORON that tried to extort 2 million from him..........Whos the bigger AHOLE now??????????????????

Excaliber 10-02-2009 11:29 AM

Ya got that right rustyBob! Good point and kudo's to Letterman for owning up and not playing the game. That takes some extraordinary courage and was the smart thing to do.

His show is currently #1, he's been around a long time, I suspect he will still be around when the dust settles. Personally I rarely watch any of the late night shows. But I like the news reports from time to time that Conan, Jay or Lenno said this or that about someone. Usually good for a chuckle.

VRM 10-02-2009 11:59 AM

At least Barney Frank is man enough to admit that he is gay, unlike Craig and Foley who had to beat around the bush whilst preaching family values, though Foley had Boehner stand up for him.

:LOL::JEKYLHYDE**)

I wonder how many entendres I can fit into one sentence...;)

This thread was ill-advised from the get go, and since folks have no center to post to...the POS dies.
