2008 Presidential election.
This is copied from an email I received. I have no idea if it is accurate or not. If it not accurate, then it is really dumb. If it is accurate, then it is thought provoking.
Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul , Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning the Presidential election:
Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase. |
According to snopes it is false. (Also the version you have is the 2004 version edited & being recycled as a 2008 version.
Here is the snopes link: http://www.snopes.com/politics/ballot/athenian.asp |

Then it is really dumb! Wonder which side put it out in the first place and which side updated it? |
The whole idea is so stupid...
Apparently he hasn't heard of the Electoral College...complete nonsense even if it was accurate......
