Oh heck Ernie, you should just let Ron go at it!

Ernie, maybe you could use a borrowed personal car lift to load cars in your truck.

The one we have has a wheel kit that allows it to move outside on the driveway apron. Back on to it, raise it, back the truck up and drive across a short gap on a couple of 2x12 planks doubled up.

For anybody looking for a lift, I see Directlift is publishing the price again and it has gone back down to around $1900, which is what I paid.

I think it would be very handy for you to use if Ron bought one.

I talked to Ernie last night and he is still running his tail off getting everything straightened out. He is going to move to Palo Cedro for a while until he has his place in Oregon ready. He said he drove up one of the arms of the lake and all he saw was rocks and a sign in the dirt that said No Water skiing Past This Point. He couldn't even see any water the lake is so low.

But he is making progress and said he can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Ron :)

Why is Ernie in a tunnel?

Was that all he could get in your area?

I suppose the housing market has greatly improved in your area if Ernie is in a tunnel.

:D

Now that the lake is so low and there are more of them, tunnels are cheaper to rent than houses. However, old mine shafts and caves are even better.

Ron
