We tax everything that moves and doesn't move
|
We (the United States) tax everything that moves and doesn’t move, and that’s not what we see in Pakistan,” she said. ( Hillery Clinton )
Boy did she get that correct. Next will be a tax on the dead and buried for the ground space they take up. But who does she think she is going all over the world and telling those Govts. how to run their country. Ron  |
It amazes me how the spend our money. Then parade around and boast what THEY DID!
If your wealthy they do tax your death. I think it's called inheritance tax. |
The next thing they will do is tax the air we breathe. Perhaps a very low rate for children (parents pay), a special rate for college students (combine it into their college loans that they never pay anyway), a high rate if you make over $250,000. per year, and a special rate for older folks that will be cheap but will extend for 20 years after their respective deaths. Maybe a insurance policy can pay the After Death Tax or charge their families. Now if you just go and kill yourself, the government will tax everyone to pay for counciling of your family and friends for post suicide depression.
Oh God...I should been a Democrate. |

They already have a name for that air tax. Cap and Trade! |
But first he has to appoint Czar of breathing and then do a study of how many breaths each person will take during their lifetime and then double that in case their figures are off some. Boy, would the athletes take a beating on that one.
Ron :) |
Maybe I could start a new school and teach folks to hold their breath for a longtime to help them reduce living costs. In addition, a staff training czar named Hiemlick that would be in charge of bringing them back to life if we go too far.

nothing wrong with taxes as long as citizens get value back for the money spent. If tax dollars are making the country stronger, safer, and better able to compete in the world, then I don't have a problem. Governments will tax. Problems arise when there is no or little benefit coming back to the people.
Unnecessary wars, social programs that don't work, corporate subsidies or corporate "welfare" are a few examples of poor government spending. Cutting taxes isn't a rational solution as it will hurt (the other) programs that benefit our national interests. Z. Ray |
I thinking about becoming a Dimo to save on taxes..
In the Age of Obama we’re getting used to this.* A St. Louis democrat finally paid her taxes so that she could fill an open slot in the Missouri House of Representatives. Hope Whitehead will replace democrat Talibdin El-Amin who pleaded guilty to bribery charges in September. A day before she clinched the nomination to fill a vacancy in the Missouri House of Representatives on Saturday, St. Louis Democrat Hope Whitehead paid a visit to City Hall. Not to mobilize supporters, but to pay hundreds of dollars in outstanding taxes. Her trip downtown was more than just civic duty. Under state law, candidates with overdue tax bills are ineligible for the ballot. When her obligations were met, a panel of city Democratic leaders gathered Saturday to nominate Whitehead, 50, to fill the vacancy created by former state Rep. Talibdin El-Amin, who submitted his resignation in September after pleading guilty to federal bribery charges. El-Amin is the third local Democratic lawmaker to leave office this year after getting caught in an FBI crackdown on corruption. * http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=...meta=&aq=f&oq= |
