I may have gained a few pounds (or more than a few %/ ) but I intend to spend what life I have left in a manner I enjoy. I would rather die in 10 magnificent, fun years than live 100 eating tofu, driving a Prius and drinking celery juice. IMHO. :)

Agree with John, well said. Besides you aren't overweight, just a little to short for your waist line. Like the guy said, "I'm not fat, I just grew out instead of up."

Hey, more H P, an adjustable steering wheel (more belly room), power sterring and power brakes, plus high back seats will make your cobra more fun to drive, Now getting out of the damm thing might be another story.

Young kid, with college loans, pulls up shirt if front of dad and says, while rubbing his abs, " six pack"

The old man pulls up his shirt and says " whole keg, paid cash" :p

In answer to the original question, I too think the "everyone is fat these days" answer is the right one. But I'll add that there may be one other connection between Cobra owners and obesity. Both seem common to people who have both the means and the propensity to give in to their appetites in spite of what the experts say is good for them.

Tommy, Well said!:)

I know I gained weight win I got the cobra running...my wife says my head got fatter! (she mean the one on my shoulders).

Well I actually lost some weight when I had my Cobra as I was always working on it or going places and keeping quite active. It was after I had to sell it that I started to gain some weight because of my bad hip and I can't run any more. But I am still just about 15/20 pounds over my weight from then and my doctor told me I should lose 10 pounds, so I guess I am not as bad as I could be. But as stated above, the whole nation is overweight. I did see a report in our paper yesterday that Shasta County has the most fit younger people in any county in California. I guess all the running from the police to get away from their dope fields keep them in shape.

Well here are my gauges for knowing when I'm over weight.
1) If my pants are getting too hard to button.
2) If I get out of breath when I bend over to tie my shoes.
3) When my neck disappears.
4) When I can't see "my business" when standing at a urnial and looking straight down.
5) When I see myself in a mirror and first glance..think, who is that fat guy...opps it's
me.
