What a great read. I loved Carl Sagan's, Contact. But I do also remember him saying the oil fires would create a sort of nuclear winter. This goes with every day life in my experiences. When someone demands they are right, they are just setting themselves up to be proven wrong. It always pays to step back and reevaluate.

Interesting article. And to make matters worse, the historical data we use for computer modeling of climate change (or any data not based on science or subject to corruption) can no longer be deemed valid.
More climategate stuff... Regrading Drake's theory, I just watched a History Channel documentary on UFO sightings over the holiday break; "I Know What I Saw". A pretty good collection of interviews with witnesses to alleged UFO encounters. My personal non-scientific, faith-based belief? With the billions of solar systems out there capable of supporting life, how can there not be other life forms on other planets? I WANT TO BELIEVE!! :LOL: |
