Roll Tide!

OK, admittedly, I am an ACC kid, NC State and Clemson. But I married a Bama girl, and for the longest time, I could find nothing about Bama to get excited about. That was pre-Sabin. This is now-Sabin. And Ingram, and Arenas, and Richardson, and Julio.

Watching Tebow cry after the game was SAD and yet good. John 16-33 (on Tebow's eye black): "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

This is not a slap towards Tebow. He is a great QB and a great desciple of God. He is also a great competitor, and pushed hard towards the mark. I am so glad that there are men in the game who are willing to openly witness for God.

Congrats to the U of A and its fans. Sometimes one team wins a game and sometimes the other team loses it. Alabama won this one.

BTW, wasn't the ACC a little embarrassed when two SEC also-rans (Georgia and SC) beat the ACC conference champions the week before their title game?

You got that right. ACC has never been a powerhouse conference in football. Basketball is another thing altogether.

Congrats to Bama, that was a great game & win !

Now another great game to play against TEXAS.

I like the fact that which ever team wins, they will be lead by a TEXAS QB.:D

What a great game by two great teams. I'll admit I'm a bit biased (Univ. of Alabama, '73), but after suffering through some less than stellar post-Bear years, I now feel some redemption.

And a tip of the hat to Florida. They're a great team, with a great coach. They handle themselves well in victory, and in defeat. Kudos to them.

ROLL TIDE!!

Hey Fred
What a difference a SECOND makes

bomelia 12-07-2009 06:51 AM

He he, now that was funny. But in all fairness, Tennessee should have beat Alabama with that field goal. What a difference a few inches and 300 pounds makes! (Cody)

Mike

OK, what really blows is TX QB most likely getting the Heisman.

A Longhorn walks into a bar. The bartender asks him what he wants. He says he doesn't want anything, but asks the bartender if he wants to hear an Aggie joke.

The bartender says, "See that man to your left. He is 6'5 and 300 lbs. See that man to your right. He is 6'3 and 280 lbs. I am 6'4 and 275 lbs. You know what we all have in common. We're all Aggies. So do you still want to tell that joke?"

The Longhorn says, "No I guess not. I would'nt want to have to explain it three dang times.":D
