Need Source For Sieta Parts

I wasn't sure where to put this but a guy hauled a 1970 Sieta down to my friends garage and wants him to get it going so he can drive it. The car has set over over 23 years and is for the most part in good condition except paint and it needs a clutch and new brakes plus all brake cylinders including the master have rusted out.

Now comes the problem. These cars were built using Fiat engines, it has a 4 cylinder rear engine mounted long ways like you cobra engines are, but the whole motor is just 1' 7' long. We have called Fiat and they say there are no longer any parts available for these cars. I have searched the web for a couple of hours and ran into the same thing. But they show people who are restoring some, so there must be a parts location available. Can anyone give me any idea of where to look. The top and exhaust we can have made here, but the brakes and rums and other mechanical stuff like the clutch I just can't locate anywhere. This is a Sieta Spring by the way.

Thanks,

Ron

From Jalopnik, "Spring" is the car on the left.

Thanks guys. Ernie the car on the left is even the color of the one this guy has. There were two editions of it in 1970 and one of the was more of a deluxe type with better interior and huge horsepower. I think it went from 22 to around 32.

Terry, thanks for the links. I will look at them and if they seem to have an answer I will get them to him

Ron :)

Ron,
Always glad to help in anyway that I can. Have him just do a search on the internet. Comes up with a lot of items.
Have a good day and stay out of the cold.

Ron,
You might also have him get hold of Wayne Carini http://www.f40.com/
If anyone knows where to get parts or info, he might.

:)

Terry,

Thanks. I have searched until I am tired of it and everything I have found wound up as not available. He won't touch a computer and still uses one of the old hand type cash registers with the small roll of paper in it at the shop. His wife has one and I sent her the links. I have been trying for years to get him to promise me that cash register when he decides to close up and retire. It is the kind my Grandfather had in one of his stores.

I did find a place in Britain that restores them. I may tell him to just have the guy send it over there.

Ron
