Cute things our kids say in our cars....

OK, here's a new thread that gives Cobra loving parents an outlet to talk about their other favorite subject, their kids...

We've all got great stories of things our kids said that almost made us drive off the road we where laughing so hard!

Here's mine, feel free to share!

Last week I was in the car with my 5 year old daughter at night and we where playing "I Spy" to keep her occupied. She was in her car sear in the back and I was obviously up front driving. Here's how the dialogue went:

Her - "I Spy something white."
Me - " Is it the street sign?"
Her - "Nope"
Me - " Is it the white lines in the road?"
Her - "Uh uh"
Me - " Is it the stars?"
Her - "No"
Well it's night time and there's pretty much nothing else outside to see, so...
Me -"Hunny, is it inside the car or outside the car?"
Her - "Inside"
Me - "Is it the white dashboard lights?" since there is absolutely nothing else white in the front of the car.
Her - "No"
????????
Me - "Ok, is it in the front of the car or the back of the car???"
Her - "The back"
Me - "Sweat heart, how can I see it if it's in the back of the car and I'm driving???"
HER - "Daddy, we're playing "I" Spy, Not "YOU" Spy !!!!!!!!!

Now you just can't argue with logic like that!!!

:LOL::LOL:

Didn`t happen to me , but a friend of mine was going to town one day with his wife and four year old son in the car . They passed a car going the opposite way and the driver blew his horn and waved . Nicole said " who was that sum ***** daddy " ? My friends wife almost fainted and and Weldon almost ran off the road . We were all told to start watching our language around his kid in the future ... in fact his wife said something about death by dismemberment if he picked up anymore new words .

"I spy not YOU spy." EH EH EH, thats a darn good one all right (see, I'm watching my language here). :)

In our maiden voyage in the cobra, when I asked my 9yo son, "So what to do you think?" His reply " Well, it certainly doesn't suck the cool out of you!"

This was made in reference to his mother's mini-van sucking out all of our coolness anytime we even get near it.

,,,sucking the coolness out, hmmmm, must be like coodies in reverse. :)

"I spy", man I'm still chuckling over that.

My 8 year old son Loves "Mommies Car". He tells me that when I drive it to school that I'm the "Coolest Mom in the Pick Up Lane." :MECOOL:
The first time I took him to a local show, where about 150 cars registered, he looked around for a minute and said "Wow Mom, there are as many "Hot-Wheels" here as I have in my toy room.":D

Reminds of a neighborhood kid that asked me one day why I had so many cars. I asked him how many toys did HE have? He got the point instantly, followed by a big grin. I was totally on his level. :)
