Accounting of Terror Attacks on US since BHO

1. Fort Hood Massacre, Novenber 5, 2009
2. Detroit bound flight from Hawaii, December 25, 2009

This list will be updated as new events occur

Mike

PS: Under Bush

1. Twin Towers & Pentagon, Setember 11, 2001
2. Airline shoe bomber, Richard Reid, December 22, 2001
3. Nothing else through the end of his two terms

PSS: The spacing of those 4 events is weirdly similar.

Flight was from Nigeria via Amsterdam.

That one right there is worth a lifetime of administrations.

Unfortunate that it happened on Bush's watch...he had absolutely nothing to do with it.

As far as this new guy trying to light his crotch on fire, I guess it's a shame it happened on BHO's watch...but, then again, he had nothing to do with it.

I sense you are hopelessly searching for some correlation...

So I'll keep a tally with you:

Accounting of Terror Attacks on US since Adam Lampert lost on American Idol = 2

I totally agree that 9/11 has nothing to do with Bush. I however feel strongly that no attacks since then had everything to do with Bush policies. I sadly feel that lax policies since BHO will lead to more attacks. I am pretty sure that my original post made that intent on my part clear Iif not, sorry). Now, all that remains is for me to be proven wrong.

So we can't blame Bush but it's OK to blame Adam Lampert? :)

...but seriously, are there any specific Obama policies, or lack thereof, that you feel makes us more vunerable?

blykins 12-27-2009 05:56 AM

No, but I'm sure Obama is on his way right now to apologize to the terrorist's family that we let him get burnt.

Uhhh, yeah! Duh! Have you not been paying attention? Obama has most definitely wounded our ability to go after killers. We will see.

Mike

No, I don't see that, which is why I asked the question. What specific policies, or lack thereof, have weakened our security?

Bartruff1 12-28-2009 10:33 AM

I hope you Obama haters will not be too disappointed if Obama fails to break Bush's record.

What's next, NY, NY. During the trials?

Maricopa 12-28-2009 12:01 PM

I think assigning numbers is silly, but if you're really going to count then add to BHOs list the murder of a military recruiter....and several more on Bush's watch that simply weren't called 'terror attacks'. The guy that ran down the students at the college, the murder of the workers at the airport desk, the attack on a Jewish community center. There are probably more.

bomelia 12-28-2009 04:47 PM

A wee little conincidence: So far no evidence has been revealed that the two exchanged e-mails or talked one-on-one. Awlaki is an American born in New Mexico, now living in Yemen, and is the same imam from whom alleged Fort Hood shooter Malik Nidal Hasan sought spiritual advice

(extracted from a Fox News article)

It is one thing to call something a terrorist attempt, quite another to call it an act of terrorism.
