There was an article in the sports pages this morning quoting an inside source who stated that Tiger has not been seen in public because his wife hit him in the face with a 9 iron just before he left the house and hit that tree. It went on to say that he needed surgery to repair his face, nose, and teeth. He reportedly will not appear in public until the surgery has completely healed. I don't know if this is true or not but it sure would explain why no one has seen him since his "accident".
