Terror, good for business
I was just thinking about Yemen getting massive dollars from the US for equipement to fight Al Queda. Gotta wonder what foreign country will be next to step up to the plate and fight Al Queda, for US dollars of course.
OK, so we HAVE to spend the money for this war on terror. If these countries are anything like Pakistan the military gets a dime out of a dollar and the rest goes toward "special interest's" within the Government. Wine, women and song come to mind... Oh well, not a lot we can do about it I guess. |

Ernie, I think Redding may be applying for some of that money. Last Summer they had two stabbings in the court house and in this mornings paper the District Attorney and his prosecutors are really crying abut the fact they now have to remove their shoes and have them screened to get into the court house. He is worthless anyway, but they are crying that it makes them look bad to the jurors, never mind that the defense attorneys have to do the same thing and none of them are complaining. This DA we have here now has never been worth a crap and will only prosecute certain cases and nothing that involves any friend or someone he knows. The knives were smuggled into the court rooms by having them in their shoes or boots. As for the other countries fighting Al Queda for us paying for it, I don't think that is to bad as they are getting rid of several of them and it isn't costing us men and equipment. From what I have seen and read, Yemen is really going after them. Ron ;) |
Well one can only hope Yemen is going after them and not going after the US dollar. So, who's up next for a big cash infusion? Phillipines maybe? Out of Africa perhaps? How ironic would it be if we started funding Somalia!

The only money that should be spent on Somalia is to drop an a-bomb on them and get rid of the main base for those darn pirates. Everyone has been after the US Dollar for the past 100 years. I need to get a small island and declare war on the US then get on foreign aid.
