What has become of our world ???
We have totaly F'd it up.
We can never recover from or fix $hit like this: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/34840622...news-security/ The problems across the board in all areas are growing exponentially. Good job humanity !! Bring on 12/21/2012 !!! . |
Do you think we will last until 2012? This stuff has been going on for a long time and we and many other nations knew abut it and with our do nothing leadership we just sit and let it grow out of control. Just wait until they take over the airport in New York.

Too many Americans are unaware of all the threats that are currently going on and how they impact us all.
Nothing will change until we are getting blown up, women and children are being killed on a regular bais and we've lost all our freedoms. We are weak, afraid to face reality, and our leaders are mostly all crooks...whatelse can I say...it doesn't look good. Too many of us don't have clue what is happening, we don't read, take a news paper or follow the news throughout the world, we would rather just concern ourselves with crap on TV like TMZ and the like, so we feel good. It's going to take another big war or giant depression where folks will learn a new reality to ever make us strong again. |
I don't know what "strong" is in this case. We don't have the resources to be the world's police force. No way your going to stop these planes, or the SUBMARINES that are becoming more sophisticated daily. Problem is these cartels have a LOT of money and a big market for their product. They WILL find a way to do business. Just buy another plane, then bribe/build another airport landing site, piece of cake. Maybe they will start using freightors next, taking to the high seas. As long as a market for their product remains (drugs, guns, whatever), they will thrive, nothing you can do about it. These guys have so much money they are like a small country. Able to form armies, go to war and all that.
Focus on the USA borders is the only hope, protect THIS country in the end is the only realistic approach. Even that is a huge problem. It's an international economy, we can close the doors to the rest of the world, but we shoot ourselves in the foot by doing so. |
The major effort always seems to be aimed towards hitting the supply side of the drug problem instead of the demand side. Cut off one route and the trafficers will find another as long as the demand is there. Reduce the demand and these guys go out of business, or probably into another business. The demand for cocaine and other drugs seems to be growing continually.

Well there it is Wayne, as long as there is a market...
Sounds like their new market is going well in Eurpope. Probably a classic scenario of cheap or free drugs at first to establish your customer base. Going after the users themselves is still a big part of the law enforcement aspect, the street dealers and such in particular. But it reminds of the prohibition days. No one has enough jails, you can't close down the "bars" fast enough, the customers WILL find the dealers. It's going to take a grass roots movement of some kind for people all over to stay STOP using that stuff! I won't hold my breath thats going to happen anytime soon. CobraEd may be right, we can't recover from this insidious world wide plague. |
