Congressional Perks

No wonder none of them want to ever leave office. This is both parties so it isn't one party alone.

You know Ron, I don't think they get it...the people are pissed and frightened ...but I am doubtful they will throw the bastards out... Pelosi is the poster child for the "let them eat cake" crowd but she will get reelected as long as she wants...maybe....just maybe if Brown wins in Mass. they will get a clue.....in the mean time, I fired up the loud blue SPF this week and there is just a hint...just a hint...of spring in the air...I want to drive that road out to the mouth of the Klamath...can you get from 96 to 199 without damage ???

I haven't been over there for a few years, so you will need to talk to one of the people who go more often. The last time I was there it wasn't to bad, but I am sure it has deteriorated over the past few years. If I can catch my neighbor at home I will ask him. I think he went fishing up there about two weeks ago.

Just got back from a long ride on the motorcycle. I should be thawed out within the next hour or so, if I sit real close to the heater... :)

Sheeshhh, I hope Ron doesn't mind this "slight" side track from the orignal topic. What was that anyway?

Actually, I rarely wore my helmet in Hawaii. I know, that was wrong, but wait it gets better. I often wore flip flops, shorts and tee shirt as well. Of course I always told everyone else how important it was for THEM to wear all the gear all the time. :)

Now, I'm so freakin' bundled up with shirts, jackets, long johns, gloves, boots, heavy socks and helmet I can hardly throw my leg over the bike! :JEKYLHYDE

You are just spoiled by all of those years of good weather.

Ron :D
