It's not the government, . . It's us !!!

There is no form of government anywhere in the world that can save people from themselves!!!!! Especially not a democracy. The goofy basturds in Washington may not be the sharpest knives in the drawer, but in spite of their shortcomings, they cannot save us from ourselves even when they try. A successful nation depends on individuals character, integrity and virtue. There is no form of government (short of a benevolent dictator) that can save us from ourselves. This is why NOTHING IS WORKING!!!

You can quote me on this :3DSMILE:

Don't believe me????? Read below:

Pictured below is a young physician by the name of Dr. Starner Jones. His short two-paragraph letter to the White House accurately puts the blame on a "Culture Crisis" instead of a "Health Care Crisis". It's worth a quick read:

Dear Mr. President:
During my shift in the Emergency Room last night, I had the pleasure of evaluating a patient whose smile revealed an expensive shiny gold tooth, whose body was adorned with a wide assortment of elaborate and costly tattoos, who wore a very expensive brand of tennis shoes and who chatted on a new cellular telephone equipped with a popular R&B ringtone.
While glancing over her patient chart, I happened to notice that her payer status was listed as "Medicaid"! During my examination of her, the patient informed me that she smokes more than one costly pack of cigarettes every day and somehow still has money to buy pretzels and beer.
And, you and our Congress expect me to pay for this woman's health care? I contend that our nation's "health care crisis" is not the result of a shortage of quality hospitals, doctors or nurses. Rather, it is the result of a "crisis of culture", a culture in which it is perfectly acceptable to spend money on luxuries and vices while refusing to take care of one's self or, heaven forbid, purchase health insurance. It is a culture based in the irresponsible credo that "I can do whatever I want to because someone else will always take care of me".
Once you fix this "culture crisis" that rewards irresponsibility and dependency, you'll be amazed at how quickly our nation's health care difficulties will disappear.
Respectfully,
STARNER JONES,M.D.

Ed,

I agree and the article seems to also be true per Snopes. Besides the people keep sending the same fools back to Washington. So who is really the dumber of the two groups. The crooks that are elected or the people that vote for them?

The problem is that most all of them are corrupt or fools. If they weren't, they woulda got real jobs. Who is there to vote for ?????

There was one guy that literally everyone I talked to said they would vote for in a heartbeat for President. How do we know he was the right man for the job, . . . . He didn't want it !!!!!! He was Colin Powell.

Yes, I was hoping that he would run. I would have voted for him. Instead I just continue to vote against the incumbents hoping someone new will get in one of these days.

People like the woman in the Emergency Room are their own worst enemy.
She and people like her will always be poor.Zero common sense or character.

You could give her $1m with no strings attached and it would only be a matter of time until she would be even poorer than she is now.If she didn't accidently kill herself first.

It has been reported over and over what happens when such people win the Lottery.

No education, sense or character.....and it is no one's fault but their own.

How true, but a system that allows (nay, rewards) this kind of behavior is an "enabler" for those folks. Our system actually helps "cripple" people when tough love could be uplifting.

The only problem this administration would maybe find with a being as this. Would be if they did not get out and vote.

The old story is that if you took every cent of money in the country and "REDISTRIBUTED THE WEALTH" equally among everyone. In a year or so, the wealthy would be wealthy again and the poor would be poor again.

Right now the govt takes our tax money to give to that woman, and in a short while that money is in the hands of a wealthy stockholder in a cell phone company or in a designer jeans company or a gold trader and she's back pigging at the public trough.
