Terror or MMD
Is this plane slamming i nto an IRS building terrorism or a man-made-disaster?
|
It was an asshole committing suicide after having a fight with his wife.... probably over money.
Next case.... |

After reading the note, I would call this domestic terrorism. No more, no less. So, no, its not "next case". I chose to wait until I had more info. Even though this fellow was clearly messed up, his message will ring with others. Just like the OK City bombing (and Waco), there will be related crap that happens in the future. I hope someone is really paying attention. Yeesh. And thank God that loss of life was at best limited to just him. Mike |
Sure hope it wasn't the refund center.

Realists will say:What was done to him to push him past the"breaking point" that we all have.
Liberals will say "What was wrong with him". |
On behalf of realists everywhere (assuming uncapitalized realists are the same as capitalized Realists), I'll disagree. This realist is saying, "There's more to this story than what we've seen so far.
Those of you who are old enough may remember the case in 1966 when a 25 year old student at the University of Texas killed more than a dozen people in and around a tower on campus before he was killed. Yes, he had had some trouble with the Marines, his father was widely described as a demanding perfectionist, and his mother had recently left home and filed for divorce. Life was tough for him as it is for most people at some point in their lives. But what was different about the shooter is that a large, cancerous brain tumor was discovered during the autopsy. My personal opinion is that the pressures he was suffering would not have caused those muderous actions in a person with a healthy brain. When I see someone like the shooter in Huntsville, AL or the guy who crashed himself into the IRS, I don't think I'm seeing a normal person pushed to the brink by the IRS, their employer or anyone else. I see a person whose brain is unable to process stress and handle life like most of us. |
Sorry - double tap

Lost money and need to start over? Taxes seem unfair? BFD a$$hole - suck it up and join the club - you have my sympathy but the same thing and worse happens to thousands of people every day. They don't all go off and throw a terminal hissy-fit. How would you feel if your wife or daughter happened to be one of the people working in that building when the sorry prick tried to take it out? Nothing toasts my testicles more than some sadsack wimp who thinks his little problems and setbacks in life are so consequential that the whole phucking world needs to be held accountable for his plight. Pi$$ on him - If he couldn't stand up to the rigors of life, then he should have gone out and crashed the damn plane into a rock out in the desert somewhere. WTF was wrong with the pathetic bastard sounds like a way better question to me, and if that's a "liberal" POV, then I wear it proudly. :) |

You're anology of the Texas shooter isn't even on this planet. Quote:
2)We don't know-do we? 3)Again,everyone has a breaking point. He was pushed past his. 4)Again,how do you know it was this simple? 5)See #4 6)Then you are listening wrong. Both of you need to brush up on your"reading comprehension".No-where did i condone this. |
Bill even if some people in that particular building - as opposed to the IRS as an institution - had robbed him of his livelihood, threatened his wife and insulted his mother (I'm trying to list the things that would piss me off here :3DSMILE:) he still needs to have a serious behavioral, mental or social problem to be driven to an act of attempted mass murder. Either that or he is just a self-pitying prima donna who thinks his problems, serious though they may be to him, justify armageddon for everyone within the blast radius of his meltdown (tantrum).

My two cents. It's just a sad situation, too many people lost their lives and were injured by this selfish asshole. He obviously never thought that he won the lottery in life by just being born in the first place. Life on this earth generally sucks for most of the population, so if you live in America, your healthy and got plenty to eat...one should be happy.
Poor boy..too bad he just didn't jump off a cliff and saved us from experiencing his unhappiness. He sure showed us.... didn't he! Maybe he had a tumor up his ass. |
