You guys would never make it in the ultra running world. There, you come into an "aid" station, middle of the woods. Bags of m&ms, fruit, whatever. People grab at that stuff with dirty, snot covered gloves & hands to get stuff. And then you come in after them and do the same. No doubt you are eating your own boogers and other's too. Increases resistance to disease & viruses. Well known effect. Many ultra runners cannot remember the last time they were seriously sick. Now, ocasionally, a sneaky stomach virus gets into the mix and that is a another thing altogether.

This brings to mind a little jingle we used to sing as kids when we would see someone picking their nose. It went something like this. "Everybody's doin' it, pickin' their nose and chewin' it, they think it's candy but it's-not." :p:eek::o:p:eek::o
