That is quite an achievement. I didn't see any range listed, but otherwise it would be a great thing for city traffic. And the speed is plenty for city driving.

I guess you could use those air bags they showed on TV the other day for skiers to use. They looked kind of awkward to me, but are supposed to work ok.

Yeah, That thing would not do well even in a crash with another one. Great alternative to a bicycle though in a place like Rome. Although, even on a bicycle, you have to go OVER THE HANDLEBARS before you slam your face into the opposing entity.
