I do have to say that the cops in my town now are very friendly for the most part. Most of them stop by when we are having a BBQ and socialize. There is 1 (newest and does not live there) who is a by the rule book kind of cop. She is nice, but if you stop and say hi, she will tell you she is on duty and cannot talk right now. Very stiff when on duty and will give a ticket for anything. Sarge has told us just call him and he will make it go away. I just don't give her a reason to pull me over. Sarge will pull up to me in the Mustang and start revving the engine in the cruiser. He also likes to get on the PA as say, "If I turn on the siren will you run? I need a good chase. I haven't gotten to arrest anyone today." All of that with a big cheezy grin on his face.

So when he does that just take off and see if he enjoys the chase. Our police here used to be like that but no more. Most of them are very unfriendly and won't even say hello if you see them and say hi. And they just seem to look for any excuse to give out tickets.

Once I revved it up high as the light was about to change and then pulled off granny slow. He told me he almost hit me as he thought i was really going to go for it.

Now that would have been great. We used to have a cop here long ago that was new and when we could cruise in Redding he was a pain in the butt. One night he was watching us so close on the 3 lane road through town that he didn't pay any attention to what was in front of him. We all revved the engines up and when the light changed just slowly drove through. He was in such a hurry to get a jump to stop us that he hit the buss in front of him. We all drove by waving and laughing. He never lasted long before they transferred him
