I wonder if his jeans are the same ones from when he was 13?

My neighbor is into RC planes (not on this level by any means) and he tells me some of the prices of stuff. I am pretty dumbfounded sometimes. I wonder how much money this guy has in this plane? $8-10k maybe?

Rick,
That is one of the most impressive radio controlled models I have ever seen. Thanks for posting it.

It can't be a Blackbird. It wasn't leaking fuel on the ground.
I saw one of the real things landing at Peterson AFB in Colorado Springs in like 84 or 85. It flew right over our house on approach. You've never heard anything like it.

They've got one hanging from the ceiling at our local HobbyTown...next to an F-22 and, if I ever thought about burning money, the one I'd get...a Warthog.

A friend of mine who serviced A-10s says the guys call them the Boris Karloff of enemy horror movies. Ugly--and scare the chit out of you.

There's some large groups that fly these things around here...just north in the Madera countryside at nice prepared site, and further up the road at Castle where we used to autocross.
A guy had a Warthog, and it just seemed to look right slowly flying low over the crowd. He was tring to figure out how to make a gun that rotated the barrels. That was a few years ago...maybe the newest models have that now.
Lots and lots of money in those things.
