Mick,
That is an interesting thread and one that all would be street racers could stand to read. I don't go to hardly any drag races but have seen a couple where people were killed on TV and the wrecks were unbelievable. Also saw one of the Funny Cars blow up some time back and burn and I couldn't believe the driver wasn't hurt, but he was back racing the next weekend.

Ron, Yeah the thread takes a weird turn starting at post #18. I give the poster an A for honesty but a D- for admitting in a public forum that he is involved in illegal activity, And a D- for participating in an activity that hurts all us car enthusiasts. I hope he wises up before he kills some innocent person or is involved in some serious injury accident. Very simply street racing is illegal & is very deadly. At the track, you can eliminate alot of the uncontrollable variables of the street, &... it only endangers yourself for the most part. The street is no place for racing................period.
