I notice that the old 3GS phone are selling for about $250 on Ebay and Craigslist......as the new phone will cost me $199 it seems like a no brainer? I should buy two and sell the other iPhone4 for the seeming going price of $5- 600! |

My 3G iphone is maybe 5 months old? Theoretically, I have to wait 1.5 more years to get the 4G which by then will be a 6G, and it will still cost $199. It pisses me off that I cannot walk in and exchange for a newer phone. I would not mind paying the $199... but Nooooooo, its gonna be $600... Mike |

Jamo, Come on now, I may make it inconvenient for some, but ruining is a little harsh don't you think? I should have mentioned, that I think Apple may have wanted to make the I phone 4 a 4G phone, but AT&T is not ready with a 4G network yet. Sprint is the only one, and it is a different technology than everyone else is going to for 4G. Sprint is using Wi-Max (ClearWire, Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications are also using Wi-Max). Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile will be using LTE. LTE has much more capabilities than Wi-Max, but it is much much more expensive to upgrade. |
