Nice little app but what happens if the 10 mph threshold is not from being in or driving a car (think commuters in a train, water taxi/ferry or any other conveyance that travels faster than 10 mph) if the app was mandatory for all mobile communication devices? Hard to imagine peace and quiet while commuting (a refreshing and nostalgic memory). I wonder if a 911 call would be exempt? Despite the apps several shortcomings - I'm all for it.

I think 911 call would be fine. It is only for texting, not talking.
