California Fuel Nazis
I was looking for some race fuel last week because the place I was buying from is charging $8:00 a gallon for 100. I used to pay that a few months ago for 111. I found that almost all the places I used to buy from did not sell race fuel any longer because of government restrictions. The one place I found handed me a full page form that I had to fill out before I could buy 10 gallons of fuel. It was a State form asking type of vehicle, registration info including plate number, date I was using the fuel, place I was using the fuel and who was sanctioning it etc... This is crazy IMO... Anyone else had this experience yet?

I think that all started with homeland security....by a lot of high octane fuel and you must gonna blow something up with it.....i hear the top fuel guys have the same problem.

I think that the California Air Resource Board (CARB) is trying to assert more control over our fuel supply. If it was a Fed thing, I would not be able to by it from the pump in AZ. |
