Really Stupid Crook

Yesterday ( Friday ) , a bank branch about a mile away was robbed . Here`s the good part . The guy had just gotten out of prison the end of January ( robbery and assault ) , drove over here from GA , robbed the branch , left and went across the street to the Food Lion , bought a 12 pk of Natural Lite , left the store and was stopped at the red light when the cops pulled up and arrested him .... oh , he also had a ankle band on so he could be tracked and there were multiple witnesses who were "tracking " him and telling the police where he was . Talk about dumb .... and he never got to drink the beer !!
This is the same branch that was held up in 2004 by a man who walked in off the street and used a rusty pitchfork ! They still haven`t found that guy .

The guy must have wanted to get back in the prison! Sadly, it may be where he feels the most comfortable.

Somewhat like the one here that tried to rob the bank about 30 miles away. He gave the teller a note telling her he had a gun in his pocket and if she didn't fill the sack with money he would start shooting. Instead she set off the alarms and he ran out the door. When the police got there about 10 minutes later they passed a guy sitting on the curb with his chin in his hand, somewhat like the statue of The Thinker. After looking at the video and getting a description of the would be robber one of the cops thought of the guy sitting outside but figure he would be long gone by then. But he was still sitting there just as if he was lost in thought. When they arrested him they asked him why he had just sit there. His answer." I was trying to figure out how that teller knew I didn't have a gun."

Ron

I these guys hadn't ended up in prison, they could have been the heads of investment banking firms.

We do not have enough prisons in this country.

It seems the guy just wanted to go 'Home'
