Porpoises "Strand Feeding"....WOW!!
 
Hey guys & gals.....

Some of you may know that I take Sunrise photos almost every day and email them all over the world but last Tuesday I got the thrill of a lifetime.....a pair of Porpoises attacked their prey 3 times (Strand Feeding) right below me on the dock......AMAZING!! The best part was that my new camera takes videos pretty well and I captured the action......went back to the house and made a composite video for YouTube....my first attempt so be nice!!

Outstanding footage! Like watching NatGeo. I'll be in the Low Country next week visiting dear old mom. I'll have to show this to her on her old PC.

Wow Thats awesome...I live in Jacksonville beach and we see dolphin daily but never like that. Where these shots taken along the intercoastal.

We have it on "good authority" those are Atlantic Common Bottlenose Dolphins (Tursiops truncatus).

Yep Tom.......my ole Grandad from Switzerland called 'em Porpoises from as far back as I can remember so that's what they still are to me!!:D

Glad ya liked the video.......it has taken me a lifetime to get it and I still can't believe it happened!!:eek:
