What's next, a Flying Cobra?

Flying car getting closer

Terrafugia Flying Car Cleared for Landing in US - FoxNews.com

So when I saw this all I could think of was a winged Cobra with Snoopy driving/flying, wearing his WWI Flying Ace helmet and goggles and scarf flying in the wind. Too bad I don't do good Photoshop.

Am I the only one who thinks a flying car is, on the whole, a really bad idea...?

I mean, have you seen how most people drive cars...?

James Stern 07-18-2011 06:52 PM

Not only a bad idea but really, really ugly.

85 percent of the people on the road these days are a danger to everyone around them. Not only do we have to watch our four corners, we have to watch our rooftops now too!!!???

We already know how to make these cars fly.

It's landing them that's difficult.

I can just see it now. Talking on a cell phone, forgetting they are in the air and stopping suddenly. Forget the airplanes and worry about a car falling on you.

Ron :D
