CW, a little info if you could

Why does it take so long to load a post or even change a page in a post. I notice that I have to wait for those links "Tweet", "inshare" and whatever those other two are to load everytime.

It doesent just happen on one computer. It happens on my home, work and even my youngest sons computer in VA.

Windows XP pro on two of the computers, not sure what my sons is. IE7 for internet on all three. Three different virus protection softwares. Four gigs of memory on my home and work computer. Everything is top notch on my home and work computers as they are used for CAD design.

No differance on my sons Toshiba (sp) laptop that is not top of the line.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance,

Those "waiting for" links are part of backend analytics and 'helper' scripts that rely on external servers to load ( i.e., they are not on our server, but are part of the page source.)

Sometimes their latency (slowness) causes our page to load slower.

(I already have been watching "p.twitter.com")

If you spot any one in particular that seems to be taking the longest, let me know which one

thanks

Not sure how to tell. They all load/link/move to the center of the page at the same time.

Note, I also have to hit the back arrow "normally" three times to get it to do anything. This is only on CC or CHR. No other forums/web sites that I visit.
