Unknown treasure found in used car

I bought a used 2000 Honda Civic of Craigslist to do a quick fix and flip it to make a few bucks, in the trunk when I was cleaning the car, under the mat, tucked in the back, I found $1013 in cash, anyone ever find any unexpected treasure in a used car?

No, I never found anything like that but if it had been around here I would have gone to the police as there is a 99% chance it would be drug money. My best find in a used car was in 1958 when I got one that actually was everything they said it was and it was one of the best cars I ever owned.

At least you have enough now to fill it up with gas a couple of times.

I found $260 under the driver's seat of my own Honda Accord....had owned the car for 8 years, so definitely mine....have no memory of ever withdrawing the $$, but there it was in a bank cash envelope....no receipt to date the transaction....in $20 bills.....it went into the interior redo fund for the Cobra :3DSMILE:

Cheers!!!!

Dugly

Though not as cool as finding cash, when I got my ERA home, I checked in the inner fender wells in the trunk and found a deadblow hammer, spool of spinner lock wire and the lock wire twisting pliers and a folded up paper with the cars wiring diagram.
Hey, every little bit helps !!

Was working on a 1963 Ford Falcon in the early 1970's. Had a leaky radiator.

Upon pulling the radiator I found a Craftman's 1/2" socket wrench where the bottom of the radiator sat. It had over some period of time rubbed a hole in the radiator. The wrench didn't fair to well either.

Took it to Sears an got a brand new one. I still have it and use it today.:)
