Off topic - but curious
Have I missed a change somewhere?
I am seeing advertising right in the middle of the threads.
Really annoying, and its coming up while signed in.

Sometimes I'll get them if I mess up or fall off the wagon, using Mozilla now with ad block or something similar, google has the same thing available I believe, then there is no track if you want to use it. All these probably have their own gremlins behind the scenes but I haven't noticed anything notorious.

I have Firefox with Adblock. With Adblock in effect, I get no gallery or ad photos and no 'like' button. When disabled, I get all those functions plus a jillion ANNOYING ads.

Yep, I get them too. On the good side, I found out about a 35% off at a motel I was going to book at in AK. On the bad side, I wonder how the paid advertisers feel about having theses banner ads pop up all over the place. If I was a paid advertiser I don't think I'd be too happy.

I don't get them all the time but I see two for Nortons in this thread between the first and second posts. I can block them but I just ignore them as I don't see them that often.

I use GoogleChrome Version 32.0.1700.107 with no ad-ons. I don't see ads.
I tried Firefox now, same thing: no ads.
Come to Africa!
