Hood mounted Guns

I was watching a show earlier in the week, I think it featured Phantom works Restoration . They were working on. Factory 5 car and the owner requested fake machine guns or cannons mounted in the hood. Did anyone else see this episode? What was the guy thinking?

Didn't see the episode, but here's a link to the build... not my taste, but to each his own...

i think a few 50's on the front is a good idea....makes for polite drivers
a cobra is also an attack helicopter, so i think that's his metaphor

Rick,

I saw that picture a few days ago and I thought that if I was going to do that I would want real ones and maybe a RPG mounter pointing to the rear.

Ron

I saw that too, I think the owner is a retired diehard pilot who does not want to think that he is no longer flying his plane. I have a neighbor nearby who owns 5-6 military vehicles, he dresses as such and you can tell that there is no disconnection.
Being a retired USN Officer myself you that more often than you think.
