Good Job!

Years ago in the Auto Sales business they gave us Demo's as one of our perks. One day I switched with my Sales Manager so I could use his Bronco. I was going somewhere with my 4 yr old son and left him in the car parked inn my driveway, drivers door open (I had the keys) while I went into the house for a moment, (it was a different world then guys). About a minute later he had been rocking the steering wheel back & forth and the pulled the shift lever out of park and the car rolled back and folded the door back after catching the front of my wifes car. He came running into the house yelling "I hurt the Bronco Daddy, I hurt the Bronco" Luckily he was unhurt and it only cost me a pair of door hinges. Lesson learned..............

In one of my previous jobs, I was knocking on a customers door, when a Misi Sigma came crashing through a roller door with 2 kids in the car. I rushed and jumped in the car and stopped it before it rolled across the road. The customer left the car running whilst she went to get something inside. The kids put it in reverse. Some people are so stoopid.

A couple of years ago my doorbell rang and it was some woman that I had never seen. She said my car hit your gate and bent the post. I walked out and the car was half way through the double upper gates across my upper driveway and the big post was bent over. I asked her how in the devil she could drive 15 feet off a straight paved street and do that. She said, "Well I wasn't driving," I stopped at a garage sale down the street, almost a block away and left the car running while I looked around. Some way it slipped into gear and made it that far up the street before deciding to turn across the street ant take my gate out. Her husband came up and right away started in that it was going to ruin their insurance if I made them pay for it. I told him he was out of his mind if he thought I gave a dam and if she was so dumb as to walk off to browse through garage sales and leave the car running I hoped they canceled his insurance. He told me to have it fixed and he would pay me cash to not have it on his insurance so I did that.
