Final Irvine, CA Cars and Coffee Cancelled
The original Cars and Coffee that started it all in Irvine, CA appears to be done. It seems to have become just too hard to manage all the cars and people.
According to this from Autoweek, their final event has been cancelled for this weekend. A shame to see it go!:( Final Irvine Cars & Coffee cancelled | Autoweek |
To many of the meeting places for the car crowd have closed. We lost ours several years ago and to make sure it never came back the city passed an ordinance that not more than 10 cars can congregate at any location to just hang out and if you drive through town twice in 30 minutes they will ticket you for cruising. And now they wonder why the downtown area is a desolate ghost town.
